This was the very first quilt pattern I ever designed—the pattern that sparked what would eventually become Bryn Mawr Quilts™. It represents countless late nights, sketchbooks filled with ideas, and the dream of creating quilts that honor tradition while bringing a fresh perspective to classic patchwork. Inspired by the anticipation and wonder of the Advent season, this quilt combines four unique star blocks into a striking sampler that feels both timeless and modern. Each block tells its own story, yet together they create a beautiful celebration of light, hope, and the joy of making something by hand. Whether displayed throughout the holidays or enjoyed year-round, Advent Stars is designed to become a treasured heirloom. Measuring approximately 63" × 90", this confident beginner to intermediate pattern walks you through each block step-by-step with detailed diagrams and easy-to-follow instructions.
